The CSD AFD Team has revised procedure for buying products through CSD online portal recently! The revised procedure for purchasing 4 Wheelers, 2 Wheelers, and White Goods through CSD AFD online portal 2025: To initiate the process of acquiring four wheelers, two wheelers, and white goods through the AFD portal, you must first register on the portal. This involves providing your essential service information, canteen grocery card number, chip number, and other relevant details by adhering to the step-by-step instructions available on the portal.

To register on the AFD CSD Portal for the first time, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to “https://afd.csdindia.gov.in”.
  2. Select “SHOP NOW” to access the login page.
  3. Click on “New User Registrations”.
  4. Complete all required fields in the registration form.
  5. Click “SUBMIT” to finalize your registration.

Please note: It is crucial to avoid any errors while filling out the form, as making changes after submission can be challenging, and you will not be able to book a vehicle until all data validations are successfully completed. Additionally, during the registration process, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number provided in the form, which must be entered in the “Enter Mobile OTP” field.

How to place order in CSD AFD online website?

To place an order on the CSD AFD online platform, follow these steps:

  • Access the AFD portal to check the availability and pricing of the desired AFD item for the current month.
  • Request a quotation for the vehicle based on the CSD pricing.
  • Acquire an availability certificate, which is valid for three weeks from the date of issue, but must not extend beyond the end of the month in which it was issued.
  • For user login:
    i. Navigate to “https://afd.csdindia.gov.in”.
    ii. Click on “SHOP NOW” to reach the login page.
    iii. Enter your “Username”.
    iv. Input your “Password”.
    v. Complete the “Captcha” verification.
    vi. Click on “LOGIN”.
    vii. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
    viii. Enter the received OTP in the “Enter OTP” field.
  • Once on the “Shop Page,” utilize the “search box” to input the vehicle SKU Number you reserved at the showroom. Click on it to verify that the displayed price matches the showroom’s information (as per the availability certificate); if not, request the showroom to correct it.
  • When placing a demand on the AFD Portal, you will need to specify your Price Zone (state), Dealer, Depot, and URC (select the nearest URC canteen). During the checkout process, upload all necessary documents, including proof of payment, PAN, last pay drawn or PPO, and the availability certificate.

The CSD AFD online portal has organized its products into three categories: four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and white goods. White goods refer to household items, including washing machines, air conditioners, refrigerators, and televisions, among others. There are certain restrictions in place regarding the purchase of these products from the CSD canteen.

  • After submitting your demand or completing the checkout, it will be forwarded to the relevant depot for eligibility verification regarding the specific product. The depot will review your demand, and the portal will notify you to proceed with payment. You will receive a notification via SMS/email within 1-2 working days, or you can check your account for updates.
  • You must pay the total amount to CSD either directly, through your account, via a bank loan, or a combination of these methods. Once your payment is processed, you will receive a summary sheet; ensure to print it and keep it along with all other uploaded documents in duplicate. Note: Payment realization may take 2-3 working days from the bank.
  • Upon successful payment, you will receive an email and SMS notification to retrieve your Purchase Order (PO), Local Supply order, and Authorization letter, which can be downloaded by logging into your AFD account.
  • Proceed to your designated URC with all original documents, including your PAN Card, Grocery Card, Service ID Proof, Availability Certificate, and others. The CSD representative will verify the documents, retain office copies, and then provide you with a signed and stamped Local Supply Order.
  • Retrieve your Purchase Order (PO) or Local Supply Order from the designated URC, then present it at the showroom to collect your vehicle.
